and I have a PS for your letter:

"you can keep all my remaining childhood memories that you haven't already raped -- just please don't remake/reboot The Hunt for Red October, Die Hard, Back to the Future or The Breakfast Club -- for the love of God, have a little decency..."

There is a special place in hell waiting for these people...

As I've pointed out repeatedly: How hard is it to get it right? Is it really that hard? I'm not a franchise fan, but they seemed to get the first Transformers movie right. How: Cars turn into Robots and fight. Hot chicks. Basic plot that doesn't get in the way of what we expect. Don't change too much of what made the original cool.

But they "improved" the second one by eliminating the plot entirely in favor of fighting robots, crammed so many robots in you can't tell them apart, and let's not forget the semi-pornographic sight gags and potentially racist robots...

So, yeah, I'm a little nervous about the "improvements" coming for GI Joe: Iron Man suits, no hood for Cobra Commander, International NATO strike force... It couldn't sound more sketchy if you told me the masterminds behind "South Park" were directing.

Oh. Wait...
