Fan Films
If you think that people who blog have too much time on their hands. If you're still throwing up your hands over the dorks who waste time creating realistic websites about fictitious colleges in New England, then check this BBC article out. Some people are out there making fan films about Star Wars and even Batman! So, if you didn't get enough of a fix already this summer, follow the links for endless entertainment. Quality Control is not guaranteed.

Check out IFILMS It is filled with shorts, fan films, oops clips and a host of other bizarro video captures.
I have been to the Star Wars fan film site before. In fact, I thought seriously about putting my own film together and even wrote a script, "Darth Vader on the Prairie". My husband said it sucked. He's usually right.
HME - Your babies crawled before they walked, so should you.
What exactly are you saying, not_sith? Your comment is vague.
Put your own film together.
This person did.
It's not "Ya gotta start somewhere" It's "Ya gotta start"
Making my own films was so easy when I didn't have kids to care for. For one thing, my mind wasn't cluttered with all the mess and screaming a mother deals with daily. I'm not making excuses, either. There are just too many obstacles for me to try and pursue that hobby right now. And that's all it ever was to me...just a fun thing to do. I never took it very seriously. Just an idea of the kind of stuff I did...one movie I made was entitled 'Sweeper', about a serial killer who was a janitor and killed people with brooms. Just stupid! VERY amateur. But you are completely right about your comment there. People talk all the time about doing things...they start it...and then never finish. I'm just not motivated to do it because I have more fulfilling duties to attend to.
