For your consideration

This is John Leguizamo, an "all-terrain entertainer." He's an actor with an impressively diverse resume.

Here's my grass-roots campaign: John Leguizamo should be the Joker in the sequel to Batman Begins. Think about it. See a few of his movies, consider the alternatives, and then tell me that John Leguizamo wouldn't be a fantastic Joker against Christian Bale's Batman.

I thought that Adam West was the real Batman

Like, why don't you go back to organizing the migrant workers and fighting for Civil Rights, Cesar!

He is the "real" Batman. Christian Bale & Michael Keaton did a better job as "The Dark Knight"

BIFF, POW, ZOWIE...

Curse you Adam West

Do you think all of these stars of the 60's represent a mature desire for simpler times.

I remember his performance in Romeo + Juliet as Tybalt. He was fabulously evil. His eyes can penetrate a great crazy stare. I can picture him doing the Joker, but it could be a little strange with his Latino flare. I can totally hear his voice saying, "Ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?"

The latino angle does pay homage to Cesar Romero's latin roots

Were there ever "simpler times?"

Not really.

G. I. Joe's in the morning sun, nap after lunch, Speed Racer and Ultraman in the afternoon...

Those were simpler times

Only from your perspective. For some Marine stationed in Saigon, 1971 was as complicated as it gets.

How is he gonna be the Joker? The root word there is "joke" and this tool couldn't tell a funny joke if his life depended on it. His stand up and acting abilitiy fills me with the urge to deficate. Maybe he should go back to waiting around in the parking lot of a 7-11 for someone who needs a crew of grass mowers. A good joker would be Henry Winkler. Ayyyyyyyyyyyy!

Is this the same idiot that wes in "The Pest". My Children made me watch that crap. It was sooooooo bad that I removed all the television sets from the house for 18 months.

I concur. Leguizamo would be brilliant. Then again, so would Shatner (did I say that out loud?).
