High Fashion

Morale Patches are an unofficial military tradition that has exploded in the past few years. The trend has been helped along by the increase in Private Military Conctractors who aren't subject to the same rules about uniform wear, and the Army's increased use of velcro on uniforms and equipment. It's real easy now for grunts to peel off an offending patch before someone in the chain of command spots the unapproved item.

Above is a selection of common morale patches. As you can see there is a patch for every mood and sentiment. Some are in good taste, while others are risque.

These morale patches are great jrf. Let me share with you a story my father told me.

He fought in WWII. In the Arden Forest. As far as I am concerned, he and his brothers in arms saved this planet from the devil himself.

Anyway, he told me that he and alot of his buddies smoked Luckies cigarettes.(Lucky Strikes I think).

The wording on the pack, apparently, read "L.S.M.F.T".
He said that he and his buddies would sport these packs of smokes when out with the Euro- sluts of the day. He told me that the bright white packs were different from the old green ones before the war.

When the chicks would ask what LSMFT neant..... pop said he and his dogface buddies would say.... Let's Screw,My Finger's Tired.

Makes sense I guess.

Had to look up "BOHICA". It applies everywhere.
