I don't know why, but I do.

Maybe it's because Tom Cruise has been going all evangelical Scientologist in the media lately, but I've been on an anti-Scientology kick lately.

I ran into this article. Can I vouch for its complete authenticity? No, not at all, but I have heard this information bandied about for a few years.

Not that I will take the entire article to heart, I was really glad to read about Scientology. I was curious of it and thought it somewhat eccentric, but my attitudes were starting to change as seemingly good and socially affluent figures proclaimed their devotion. Now I'm back to the eccentricity opinion, and actually I feel a degree of caution has entered me. I am a seeker of truth and had thought at one time that I might seek out and read a book by Hubbard. This is clearly not something I wish now to do. Freaky sex rituals? Yikes!

I didn't have the patience to read the whole article.

Who's Tom Cruise?

But Matt, there are freaky sex rituals.

Yeah. I know. But I don't need to be in some freaky religion to practice the freaky sex rituals.

Speaking of which. Maybe I should post something on my blog on the subject. It's only been two months since my last post.

Jeez.

My publishing schedule has been thrown off by family demands. I will try to post an interim update on Friday night, but I can't make any promises.

I do have some posts more or less ready to go. It's a matter of having the time to sit down, type them, and make the links.

So stay tuned, True Believers!
